Rapper Kid Ink was arrested in Las Vegas on August 16 for disturbing the peace. Law enforcement raced to the 1Oak nightclub in the Mirage hotel after receiving a 911 call reporting a fight. Witnesses stated an unnamed female affiliated with Kid Ink started the scuffle. As the two were leaving the club around 2:00 am the woman
began to act belligerent. Security immediately approached them and things became physical. Both Kid Ink and the woman were booked. The woman was arrested for giving a false statement to the police. At this time it is unknown what she said. The “Show Me” rapper was released Saturday afternoon without posting bail. He had to appear in court today.
UPDATE
Kid Ink has finally released a statement regarding his arrest on Saturday. The LA Native says him and some of his friends were taking pictures on a closed red carpet which caused an issue. Police and security immediately stepped in and began to make arrests. After being released from jail Kid Ink flew back to his hometown and is expected to perform tonight.
