Last night, the People’s Choice Awards aired, and let’s just say I had to put my hands over my eyes for a few moments. Unexpectedly, a unknown man bombarded the stage and totally pulled a Kanye West. As Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and the rest of the hosts of “The Talk” gathered onstage to accept an award for Favorite Daytime Hosting Team and deliver their acceptance speech, they were interrupted by a random and obnoxious guy who took over the mic.

The interrupter quickly introduced himself, then stated, “Shoutout to Kevin Gates, Islah album. Yeezy jumped over the jumpman, yes sir.” The panel of women were visibly shocked, but refused to let the intruder steal their limelight. Underwood and Osbourne made it their duty to get the guy off of the stage with a few shoves and kicks, followed by Underwood stating, “You ain’t gonna pull no Steve Harvey up in here.”

The Hollywood Reporter later revealed that the stage crasher was a audience member named Zacari Nicasio, 20, who decided to rush the stage to “make a name for himself” and “to tell everybody who I was.” Nicasio claims he pulled a similar stunt at Kris Jenner’s 60th birthday party last year.

After the incident occurred, Nicasio was placed in handcuffs by police outside of the venue where the awards were being held, and was reportedly released shortly afterwards.
