Ralo remains behind bars.
On April 15, Ralo was arrested at DeKalb-Peachtree Peachtree airport in Georgia after authorities discovered more than 400 pounds of marijuana being transported. Just three days later, the FBI and ATF raided an apartment building owned by Ralo in Atlanta. He has since been charged with two federal counts of possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
On Tuesday, Ralo appeared in court, where he was denied bond and accused of running a cross-country drug operation. Police allege that Ralo sold drugs from his apartment complex, which are known as “Ralo’s Hood.” In the criminal complaint, eight of Ralo’s associates are also named.
Apparently, Judge Allen Baverman refused to grant bond for Ralo until he hears from the Fulton County Probation Division. Ralo is currently on probation in Fulton County. Baverman noted that Ralo has means to flee the country, although Ralo’s laywer said his client would not do so.
Following the hearing, Ralo’s label representative released the following statement, “Ralo will maintain his plea of not guilty to today’s charges. We ask for continued prayers and appreciate the outpouring of love from everyone, family and friends included. Ralo will continue to work to be the best artist and entertainer and community leader that he is. We hope that he will soon be released to complete his current show schedule.”
