Rest in peace Extendo Quono.

Back in November, Fredo Santana’s artist, Extendo Quono, born Aquoness Cathery, was shot and killed by a Chicago police officer. The incident was captured on the officers body cam, and the footage has now surfaced online.

According to The Chicago Tribune, officers responded to a call about shots being fired around 2:15 p.m. in the Washington Park neighborhood. When police arrived, they enter into an apartment and end up chasing Quono down a set of patio stairs.

The shooting officer claimed Quono pointed a a semi-automatic pistol at him – forcing him to shoot him. However, Quono isn’t seen holding a gun in the footage.

In the graphic footage, Quono is seen laying on the ground with his hands covered in blood. Frightened tenants can be heard screaming in the background as the officer makes a request for an ambulance. Via Twitter, Fredo mourned Quono’s death, tweeting, “Long live quano frontstreet or no street Bzzz.”

The officer who shot Quono was placed on a 30 day administrative leave.

Quono was signed to Santana’s Savage Squad imprint.
