Quavo and Takeoff owe the state of Georgia a slew of money.
It looks like Migos’ Quavo and Takeoff may need to hire an accountant to get their finances in order. According to The Blast, both rappers owe a combined total of almost $30,000 to the state of Georgia.
In June, Quavo was hit with a lien for unpaid 2016 taxes. Originally, the “Bosses Don’t Speak” rapper owed $9,000, but due to interest and penalties the amount has grown to $14,055.06.
The very same day, the Georgia Department of Revenue filed a separate lien against Takeoff for unpaid 2016 taxes totaling $14,348.23. In all, Quavo and Takeoff owe a total of $28,403.29, which should be quite easy to pay off since the Atlanta trio makes $150,000 per tour stop, according to Forbes. However, they have yet to make one payment.
Quavo and Takeoff have yet to publicly comment on the matter.
