Fetty Wap has been slapped with a lawsuit over his breakthrough single, “Trap Queen.”

Danish producer and songwriter Lazar Lakic is suing Fetty Wap and “Trap Queen” producer, Tony Fadd. Lakic claims that he owns exclusive rights to the beat and that Fetty took his beat without permission.

Lakic claims that back in 2014, Fadd sold him the rights to a song called “Hello.” Lakic also says that Fadd contacted him in January 2015 in an attempt to buy back the rights to the beat, but Lakic declined his offer.

Lakic is suing both Fetty and Fadd for profits from the hit song. Lakic also wants to destroy all copies and stop all sales of Trap Queen, which will most likely be impossible at this point. Fetty’s lawyer, Navarro Gray, told TMZ that “Fetty legally bought the beat from Fadd and has the contract to prove it.”
