In petty news today, Drake is being sued by his former collaborator and producer Detail. Detail claims he was allegedly beat up by the 6 God’s bodyguard after he turned down an offer to be his executive producer. Detail says he refused to ink a deal with Drake because he didn’t want to be restricted to working with one artist.
Apparently, Drake doesn’t deal with rejection too well. In June 2014, Detail claims that Drizzy invited him to his Calabasas home one night to work together. Detail arrived at 2:00 a.m., where he was greeted by Drake’s bodyguard, Chubb.
Chubbs allegedly punched Detail in the face before yelling, “I will beat all your ass*s, including your b*tches. I don’t give a f*ck. I will hit you again. Do you think Drake is soft? You think Drake’s a punk?” The attack left Detail with a broken jaw. To this day, he believes Drake set up the entire encounter.
The “Drunk In Love” and “We Dem Boyz” producer is suing for an undisclosed amount of money.
