Plies was arrested at a Tampa airport.
Apparently, Plies in unaware that you aren’t supposed to bring a gun to an airport. Earlier today, the “Rock” rapper was arrested at Tampa International Airport after a gun was found in his carry-n bag.
While getting his bags scanned before boarding a Delta flight, TSA agents discovered a Glock 43 in one of his bags. In addition, they found a fully-loaded magazine lying beside it.
Plies had no permit for the gun, and was consequently arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, which is a felony. He is currently in custody at the airport, but will be transferred to Hillsborough County Jail.
A source close to Plies has reported that accidentally grabbed the wrong bag before heading to the airport. The source says Plies is a registered gun owner and admitted that the weapon belongs to him.
