Kanye West has decided that he will no longer release his music on CD’s anymore, but if your a Kendrick Lamar fan you have absolutely nothing to worry about. This past Friday, Lamar released “untitled unmastered.”, but it is currently only available in digital format.
Although fans are grateful for more tunes from Lamar, they can’t help but wonder if they’ll be able to get their hands on a hard copy. One fan tweeted TDE CEO Anthony Tiffith asking, “are we getting hard copies of untitled unmastered this week?”. Tiffith replied back with “Yep”, then later confirmed that there will be vinyl copied made available as well. Tiffith kept his responses short and sweet, so it’s unsure at this point how much Lamar’s album will cost and how many vinyl copies will be distributed.
untitled unmastered. is a collection of unreleased music from Lamar’s “To Pimp A Butterfly” studio sessions and live performances, and features music dated as far back as 2013. Guest appearances on the project include Cee-Lo Green and Jay Rock.
