After a well-deserved hiatus PARTYNEXTDOOR resurfaces with two tracks that reiterate OVO Sound’s willful dominance.

Jahron Brathwaite, better identified by his famed moniker PARTYNEXTDOOR, sent the internet into a frenzy earlier this week after going off the grid for nearly two years. A candid portrait capture staring off into the abyss combined with a simple Instagram post captioned “Friday” sufficed as the appropriate subtle marketing technique used to reignite PND’s enthused fan base.

PARTYNEXTDOOR’s esteemed catalog is filled with standout ballads that draw nostalgic appeal and full bodies of work that typify the Mississauga native’s distinctive ear for a provocative sound that coaxes risque behavior.

PND also snags a guest feature from OVO Sound co-founder Drake – championing a well-versed balance of lyrical poise and acoustical range that provides contrast to the perceptive understanding on staunch tings and such for their collaborative effort with ‘Loyal’.

As if one record wasn’t enough, the neighboring festive occurrence delivers his own soliloquy of soulful decrees over synthesized beat patterns in the form of an artful debriefing with ‘The News’ – posing a series of questions that require adequate musing and self-evaluation to answer with “Do you deserve me” and the equally suggestive “Can I let you go to anybody“.

Although no indications of a full-length project have surfaced at this time, fans can only speculate what PND’s next endeavor entails for the remainder of this year leading into 2020, but a Break From Canada is warranted this time around – the industry yearns for your return Party.

Welcome back.
