Yesterday, Dallas Cowboys star Orlando Scandrick, 28, called off his engagement to Basketball Wives star Draya Michele less than one month after proposing. Orlando and Draya have been dating on and off for two years, but apparently the sparks have burned out.
Scandrick spoke with TMZ Sports stating, “I have made the decision to call off the engagement and permanently end the relationship I had with Draya. In hindsight, it was a poor decision to propose. I am anxious to move on with my life personally and professionally.” Ouch! I’m curious as to why he would publicly embarrass someone who he once loved and was ready to spend the rest of his life with.
A well connected source has revealed that Orlando never proposed to Draya, and that the entire story was planted by Draya and her publicist. As far as the six carat cut diamond ring that Draya has been flossing around on Instagram, the source claims that Draya purchased the ring herself. If you take a look at all the recent photos posted on her Intagram, you will notice that her left hand is cropped out.
Draya deny’s buying her own ring, and even admits to feeling like a fool. Best of luck to Draya.
