Quavo is reportedly wanted by the NYPD.
Quavo has found himself in hot water with the New York Police Department. A couple of weeks ago, Quavo reportedly attacked and robbed Eric The Jeweler during a Grammy after party. The two got into a heated argument that turned physical after Eric questioned Huncho about money that he allegedly owes him.
Following the incident, Eric noticed that his $30,000 chain was missing and filed a robbery report with the New York Police Department. After launching an investigation, the NYPD now feels that they have enough evidence to arrest the “Stir Fry” rapper.
An arrest warrant has yet to be issued, however, investigators have already contacted Quavo’s attorney, Drew Findling, and informed him that his client may be taken into custody at soon.
Findling maintains that Quavo is innocent, stating, “This is yet another example of a young African-American hip hop star potentially being treated unfairly by the criminal justice system.”
Offset and Takeoff were not involved in the incident.
