Nicki Minaj announces a new album, “Pick Out My Fruit.”
Over the weekend, Nicki Minaj seemed to be full of jokes. On Saturday, the 33 year old Trinidadian rapper announced via Twitter that she would be dropping a new album at midnight. In a series of tweets, Nicki wrote, “Ok u know what I wasn’t gonna say anything but damn ya got it out of me. The album drops at midnight. 🎀💋 it’s called #PickMyFruitOut.”
This was followed by Minaj revealing that the album’s track list was fruit inspired, with song titles like “Mango”, “Cherry”, “Watermelon”, “Bananas” (Harambe Interlude), “Grapes”, and “Raspberries.” At this point, fans began to catch on, but that didn’t stop Minaj from still playing along. Minaj went on to inform her 20.6 million fans that she was most excited about track number ten, “N*gga Toss My Fruit Salad”, – featuring her favorite rapper.
Barbz were disappointed to learn that Minaj doesn’t really have a new project in the works, but at least they were willing to join in on the fun.
As of now, Minaj hasn’t announced the status of her fourth studio album.
