Nicki Minaj has reportedly stolen a t-shirt design.
Nicki Minaj has been hard at work preparing for the release of her album, but it appears that she also has some legal matters to tend to.
According to TMZ, the “Chun-Li” rapper is being sued by Isiah Eugene Simon, an artist who claims Minaj stole his heart-shaped boob design that he created for his “I Love Venice Beach” shirt line. Apparently, Nicki is using the same exact design on her shirts, but hers says, “I Love Nicki.”
Simon says he copyrighted the design on February 14, 2015, and is now reportedly asking her label, UMG, to discontinue the shirts on their website. Simon is also asking for the profits made from any shirts that have been sold.
