Nicki Minaj knows how to bring out a crowd.
Following her upcoming Saturday Night Live performance, Nicki Minaj was scheduled to host a party at Scores NY, a well known strip club. But due to a high demand for tickets, Minaj was reportedly forced to relocate the party to a bigger location after sales reached the venue’s capacity and continued to climb.
The event has now been moved to Highline Ballroom, a upscale live-music venue located in New York City. Earlier this week, the “Chun-Li” rapper publicly denied any part in the Scores NY event, but she was under the impression that the party.
Minaj is now ecstatic that all of her fans can come out to see her at a venue that is “safer and bigger.” The Highline Ballroom can hold up to 700 people, opposed to Scores NY, which can only hold a few hundred. Tickets for the event cost $40 for women, and $60 for men. For a whopping $20,100 per ticket, you can sit next to Nicki’s table.
Nicki’s contract doesn’t require her to perform at the party, however, event organizers are hoping the crowd can persuade her to hit the stage for a few songs.
