Nicki Minaj And Future Tour Postponed, Tickets Struggling To Sell

by Yellah Bone

Nicki Minaj and Future have postponed their NICKIHNDRXX tour.

Nicki Minaj and Future were slated to hit the road for their NICKIHNDRXX tour next month, but unfortunately there has been a change of plans.

Disappointingly enough, the North American leg of the tour has been postponed until May 2019 – with Future pulling out of those dates. However, he will still join her for the European leg of the tour, which kicks off in February.

Live Nation released the following press release, “Due to scheduling conflicts Future will not be on the North American run. Nicki Minaj will be announcing new North American dates to kick off in May 2019. Refunds for the previously scheduled North American dates will be available at point of purchase, with new Nicki Minaj on-sale details announced soon.”

Minaj has yet to release a statement regarding the new changes, but the press release cited “elements of production” as being the cause of the setback. The “Chun-Li” rapper also wanted more time to rehearse, so she could give her fans the best show possible.

A rep for Live Nation told Pagesix that Nicki is struggling to sell tour tickets – even in her hometown, “Nicki’s tour could be the most disappointing ticket sales of the year for any artist. These are big arenas with up to 20,000 capacities. Sales for opening night in Baltimore is 2,000 tickets. LA is 3,400, New Orleans 1,000, Denver 1,300, Chicago 3,900. Even her hometown Brooklyn is only 5,050.”
