Yeezy and Nicki Minaj are the latest artists to join the outstanding lineup of performers for Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards. On Tuesday, Dick Clark Productions announced that Wiz Khalifa will be joining Charlie Puth for their number 1 hit “See You Again” in remembrance of Paul Walker at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. See You Again is featured in the 2015 film Furious 7, which Paul Walker was a part of before his untimely death on November 30, 2013.
Imagine Dragons will pay tribute to the late Ben E. King by performing “Stand By Me”, while Minaj will deliver a live rendition of her new single “The Night Is Still Young”, as well as her latest collaboration “Hey Mama” with David Guetta who will join her on stage. West is expected to wrap the show up with a brand new song off of his upcoming album Swish.
Previously announced performers include Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Ed Sheeran, Iggy Azalea, Meghan Trainor, John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, Sam Smith, Taylor Swift, Nick Jonas, Hozier, Fall Out Boys, Van Helen, and Jussie Smollett.
Taylor Swift has 14 nominations in 13 categories.
Ludacris and Chrissy Teigen will host the show on Sunday, May 17th, at 8:00 p.m. on ABC!
