Nicki Minaj is embarrassed after her run-in with Cardi B.
Nicki Minaj and Cardi B have been taking shots at each other for quite some time, but things finally boiled over this weekend. While at the Harper’s Bazaar party in New York City, an angry Cardi decided to confront Minaj about alleged comments made about baby Kulture, as well as her parenting.
Apparently, Cardi tried to physically attack the “Barbie Dreams” rapper, but was held back by security – stemming her to throw her shoe at Nicki. It’s unclear if Cardi sustained any injuries, however, Cardi walked away with a knot on the side of her head. Various reports have claimed that the “Bartier Cardi” rapper was accidentally elbowed by a security guard.
During Nicki’s newest episode of Queen Radio, she addressed the shocking altercation, and admits that she was embarrassed, “The other night I had to go through something so mortifying. The way [these upper echelon people] passed by looking at this disgusting commotion, I was mortified … How we (and I’m going to use WE loosely) made ourselves look was mortifying.”
Nicki also revealed that she never said anything malicious about Cardi, “I would never talk about anyone’s child or anyone’s parenting. And it’s so crazy to me that people always need to make Onika the bad guy…I am not a clown. That’s clown shit.”
She added, “You knew that when that footage came out you would look dumb. I didn’t even feel the need to defend myself that night. …She has built her career off of sympathy and payola.”
“The lord gave you a blessing with a bundle of joy and the only thing on your mind was to attack people and to stop their bags. Who are you angry at sweetheart?”
