Today, the eclectic budding star has re-released his lauded effort, featuring new songs.

Broken Halls is an emotionally-charged narrative penned on wax. The EP opens up with “Late Night”- a detailed account of somber thoughts about distraught love and going through the motions. Sonically, TheHxliday offloads sadboi cuts that spotlight his tonal versatility.

In short, the timing  surrounding Motown’s latest acquisition is impeccable. TheHxliday is definitely on one. His edgy lyricism and emotional strains have made quite the impression on music industry execs and tastemakers. “We’re proud to welcome TheHxliday to the Motown family and the new generation of our incredible roster. His raw and emotive sound resonates with many and we’re ready to take him to the next level,” shares Ethiopia Habtemariam, President of Motown Records & EVP of Capitol Music Group.

At just 18-years-old, the fresh-faced emcee has made significant headway as an artist to watch. With over 20M on-demand streams and nearly 5M views for the Cole Bennett-directed video for “Save Me” in pocket, TheHxliday’s digital prowess breeds results, and numbers don’t lie. He’s in route to chart, one melodic ballad at a time. Broken Halls is a mere glimpse into what lies ahead for the Baltimore native’s infectious sound.“Broken Halls came from my home in Perry Hill. That’s where I experienced bad friendships and heartbreak that inspired the music,” shares TheHxliday on the creative inspo surrounding his latest release.

From pain to pen, TheHxliday has managed to strike a deal off of his vulnerability on record. With a new project looming in the foreseeable future, mark your calendars, it’s almost Hxliday SZN.
