Moneybagg Yo’s Time Served album has arrived!
Moneybagg Yo is back on our radar – but it’s regarding his music this time around. Less than a year after dropping his sophomore album, 43va Heartless, the Memphis rapper shares his Time Served project.
The new album comes laced with 15 new tracks, and guest appearances from Lil Baby, Blac Youngsta, Future, Da Baby, Summer Walker, Fredo Bang, and his former girlfriend and Hot Girl, Megan Thee Stallion. Meg and Moneybagg called it quits back in November, with the “Big Ole Freak” rapper officially announcing the breakup in a Instagram video, “Bitch, I’m twenty-four and single, ain’t no ring on my finger.”
Moneybagg Yo describes Time Served as “one of my best projects eva.” While speaking to Hot 97’s TT Torrez, he stated, “New vibes. New bag. New music. We leaving everything in 2019. We on to bigger and better things. With this album, you just see the elevation, you see the growth with the word play, the beats selection, and just the type of style of music that I’m doing. It’s just different … a lot of surprises on there.”
It was recently revealed that Moneybagg is dating G Herbo’s baby mother, Ari Fletcher. Prior to the release of Time Served, Ari shared the official cover art for the album on her Instagram. Moneybagg later took to his Instagram stories to brag about his newly found boo, “Ian never leaving my Bih she a dime. Y would I switch out a dime for a penny.”
