Listen to Mick Jenkins’ new track, “Elephant In The Room.”
Serving as the followup to last month’s “Bruce Banner” and “What Am I To Do?”, Mick Jenkins returns with another loosie titled “Elephant In The Room.” Jenkins’ second studio album, Pieces Of A Man, has yet to receive an official release, but is currently in the works and Elephant In The Room is sure to appear on it.
On the new track, Jenkins delivers an unconventional flow over a Martin $ky & THEMpeople production, “The elephant remembers it all down to irrelevant / The regimen, a journey that slightly resembles the revenant / The valley of the shadow of death / Maleficent energy prevalent / Cautious, not hesitant.”
