It has been almost a week since Drizzy dropped his two diss tracks “Charged Up” and “Back To Back” slamming Meek Mill. Meek held his silence for so long after the tracks were released that everyone started to ponder whether the “Young & Gettin’ It” rapper had run out of fresh rhymes. But last night Meek fooled us all and premiered his new song “Wanna Know” (featuring Drake’s alleged ghostwriter Quentin Miller) on Funk Flex’s show on Hot 97. The Drizzy diss track was produced by Jahlil Beats and Swizz Beatz.
On the new track Meek comes for the OVO king rapping, “Now when that shit went down with Chris, you wrote a check / In New Orleans wore my chain to get respect (you a fraud) / So what that tell me? You a pussy and a fan / Said they run with you we the shooters at your neck / I just wanna know, if you ain’t write that running through the six shit / Tell us who the fuck Quentin out here running through the six with? (Running through the six with my woes / Counting money you know how it goes”.
Needless to say, the Philly emcee’s comeback at Drake was a tremendous fail, and Black Twitter had no problem dragging him through the mud once again. Drake seemed entirely unbothered by the diss track, even responding by posting the photo below onto his Instagram. Who’s side are you taking, Meek’s or Drake’s?
