Thanks to Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa, Max B was trending yesterday on Twitter. All hell broke lose when Ye announced that he would be changing the title of his long anticipated album to “Waves”. Wiz immediately hopped on Twitter to school everyone on the history of the wave movement, and to clarify that Ye’s music was nowhere near “wavy”.
As expected, Kanye went on a Twitter rant in an attempt to tear Wiz apart. However, before the night was over, Ye deleted almost all of the tweets aimed at Wiz stating, “I’m taking these down because it’s all about positive energy blessings blessings positive energy blessings”. The argument between the two rappers may have been a little on the petty side, but either way, it was a good look for Max B.
Looking to take advantage of the free promotion, DJ Scooby Doo announced via Instagram that he will be directing and releasing a Max B documentary entitled “Waves”. The documentary will drop the same day as Kanye West’s “Waves” album, February 11, and will feature never before seen footage and unreleased music.
Today, Biggavelli took everyone by surprise and dropped a new song entitled, “My Wave (A Message To Kanye West)”, in which he reminds the world who the real wave God is.
