Future was already feeling some type of way about Desiigner when everyone began insinuating that he was cramping his style. The “Purple Reign” rapper never officially addressed Desiigner, but during one of his shows in New York City he stated, “I’ma let y’all n*ggas know, it’s only one Future in this mothef*cker and I’m really the plug.” (Obvious shots thrown at Desiigner, right?) However, there’s no denying the fact that Desiigner sounds just like Future on his chart topping single “Panda”, which is doing better than any solo song that Future has ever released.
Unfortunately, there’s a new kid on the block, who goes by the name of MoeRoy, that is looking to take away Future’s seat on the throne. MoeRoy is Master P’s new artist who sounds a lot like Future, and sort of resembles him with blonde dreads and an eye-catching hat. In his video teaser for “To the Top I Go”, Moe can be seen toting around a gun, while dancing like Michael Jackson to his catchy trap music.
Master P describes him as having the same energy that Mystikal had when he first stepped onto the scene, combined with a little bit of Michael Jackson. That’s quite an odd combination, but who knows, Master P may be right about this guy.
