Over the weekend, Jeezy was hosting a party at Club Embassy in Virginia Beach when a man was shot and killed. Early At approximately 1:35 am.m on Saturday morning, police were called to 5476 Virginia Beach Boulevard for a report of a gunshot wound.
The victim, Demetrius Darnell McCloud, was found with an “apparent gunshot wound to the head”. A concertgoer captured a Snapchat video of a woman giving the victim CPR. Unfortunately, McCloud died on the scene. At this time, it is unclear if Jeezy was present during the time of shooting, and the “Seen It All” rapper has yet to release a statement.
Virginia Beach police have launched an investigation, but have not identified any suspects, nor determined any motives for the shooting.
