Stream Mac Miller’s Circles album.

It’s been over a year since Mac Miller’s passing, but today fans received quite a treat with the arrival of his posthumous album, Circles. Circles serves as the companion album to 2018’s Swimming, which Miller was working on before his untimely passing.

Jon Brion, the producer who worked with Miller on Swimming, released the following statement in regards to the new project, “Throughout all of his lyrics, his self-reflection is much more interesting than some other people’s. Circles and a few other songs on this record: You hear him acknowledging aspects of himself, either that he doesn’t feel capable of changing or things he thinks are questionable.”

“Things you’ll hear in the lyrics directly— ‘I’m this way, and I think other people might not understand how I think, but actually I’m okay with that.’ It’s so pointed. I was just a hundred percent in from the get-go.”

Circles features 12 new tracks, including “Blue World”, “I Can See”, “Woods”, previously released “Good News”, and more. Ironically, there are no guest appearances.

Miller passed away on September 7, 2018, from a from a suspected accidental drug overdose due to a “mixed drug toxicity” of fentanyl, cocaine, and alcohol.
