Chance The Rapper, SZA, Ty Dolla $ign and more are slated to perform at Mac Miller’s benefit concert.
Mac Miller may no longer physically be here with us, but those who were a significant part of his life are making sure to keep his legacy alive. On October 31, the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles is hosting a benefit concert to raise money for The Mac Miller Circles Fund. The newly launched organization is established in Miller’s hometown of Pittsburgh and will provide programming, resources, and opportunities to underprivileged youth.
Miller’s mother, Karen Meyers, shared the flyer for the event via Instagram. Apparently, Travis Scott, Chance the Rapper, SZA, Ty Dolla $ign, ScHoolboy Q, Earl Sweatshirt, John Mayer, and more will perform at the event. Tickets go on sale this Friday.
Miller’s management team, Kelly Clancy and Christian Clancy, released the following statement, “He was pure artistry — constantly creating, seeking, and discovering new ways to be both a source of inspiration and catalyst for new artists. We were fortunate, not only to work with Malcolm and watch his music evolve, but to witness his own personal evolution that included a strong focus on building bridges and opening doors for anyone and everyone he encountered.”
