Love and Hip Hop stars Mendeecees Harris and fiance Yandy Smith have hit yet another bump in the road. Yesterday, Harris, 36, pleaded guilty to running a drug ring that shipped heroin and cocaine to Rochester, New York between 2005 and 2012. He struck a plea deal, but could potentially be facing 5 to 40 years in prison, along with a $5 million dollar fine.

But the bad news doesn’t stop there. The reality star’s lawyer Donald Thompson revealed that Harris has to surrender all the money that he makes from Love and Hip Hop: New York, as well as paid appearances. Harris gets paid by the episode, and has racked in over $103,000 in checks that will all have to be handed over to the federal government. Geesh, that hurts!

He will remain free on $600,000 bail until his sentencing on August 31st. This will give Harris enough time to finish filming his wedding special with Harris that will air on VH1 on Memorial Day.

Harris’s co-defendant and little brother Tyrus Harris plead guilty in his role in the drug ring and was sentenced to five years in prison. The other co-defendant Ronald Walker also plead guilty and was sentenced to ten years.

Hang in there Yandy!
