Lil Wayne can’t seem to stay out of the news these days. Over the past few months we have watched his ongoing public battle with Birdman. Recently, he’s been taking shots at Young Thug who shadily named his upcoming album Carter 6, then decided to change it to Barter 6.
Now, Lil Wayne is being sued by his former bus driver, Mark Jones, who was hired for his 2014 summer concert tour. Jones claims he pulled over at 11:30 p.m. to get gas. This is when Wayne became irate and began cursing him out. He then revealed to being scared and decided to keep driving without refueling.
Wayne continued to verbally attack Jones threatening to pistol whip him, “whip his a**”, and finish the job by killing him. The situation escalated, and an angered Wayne then allegedly approached him with a gun, cocking it and stating, “I want to get to the hotel now.” Jones cooperated and the 30 minute drive to the hotel was in complete silence.
Jones is suing for false imprisonment, assault, and emotional distress.
