Despite facing his own personal woes with Cash Money Records CEO Birdman, Lil Wayne makes sure to always have his Young Money family’s back. Over the weekend, Weezy made a appearance at Dream Nightclub in Miami to celebrate Young Money President Mack Maine’s birthday. During the appearance, Wayne was caught rocking out to Drake’s “Back To Back” Meek Mill diss track from behind the DJ booth. I guess it’s quite clear who Wayne is siding with in Meek and Drake’s beef.
This occured only a week after Wayne joined Nicki Minaj on stage at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn for her Pinkprint Tour. This left us all wondering if Wayne had a few choice words for Meek backstage or not. One thing is for sure, Meek isn’t going to take shots at Weezy. I don’t even think Nicki would allow it with as much as he’s been involved in her career and her journey to success.
