Florida’s self-proclaimed Wildchild, Lil Poppa, pens an introspective overview of humble beginnings with his most recent Evergreen Wildchild 2 project.

The Rule 1/Interscope Records recording artist’ titled effort is imbued with drug-filled mentions and tales from the trenches that unveil a problematic past. Evergreen Wildchild 2 is a follow up to one of Poppa’s first-ever mixtape releases and chronicles the buzzing MC’s plight of ascension to new levels.

With ‘Bankrolls & Groupie Hoes’ feat. Stunna 4 Vegas serving as Poppa’s latest visual contribution, the cinematic music video finds the pair of lyricists on the perpetual paper chase, reaping the benefits of devious dealings and proper planning.

Electronically-produced chords provide insight into the Florida native’s trauma, while keyed accompaniment sets the foundation for creative discourse. Moreover, it’s almost like the booth is a place of refuge for Lil Poppa. Evergreen Wildchild 2 revisits the past with a newfound approach on growing through pain, but don’t get it confused – pressure comes behind the headstrong rebel.

Over the extent of twelve layered-tracks, the Rule 1 frontman managed to enlist two guest features – which include, Stunna 4 Vegas (Bankrolls & Groupie Hoes) and fellow Floridian Seddy Hendrix on their collaborative ‘No Industry Sh*t’ record. With his powerful wordplay and captivating storytelling dynamic, it won’t be too much longer before the world acknowledges Lil Poppa for his lyrical prowess as an artist.
