Louisiana rapper Lil Boosie took to his Instagram today to reveal startling news that he has been diagnosed with kidney cancer. He posted a photo of himself with the caption, “I need all my fans to pray for me. Doctor just told me I have cancer on my kidneys. Prayer is power that’s why I’m letting the world know prayfaboosie.” The caption has since been deleted, but not before screenshots of the photo began to surface all over the internet. Allegedly, the “No Juice” rapper was advised by his team to take the post down.
The past few years have been rocky for Lil Boosie who was released from prison on March 5, 2014 after a five year stint for marijuana possession and probation violation. He will remain on parole until 2018. At only 33 years old, Boosie is also battling diabetes. Back in May, Boosie vomited onstage during a show in NYC, later stating he fell ill because he hadn’t received his insulin shot. It was later revealed that while traveling there had been a miscommunication resulting in his one of his bags carrying his insulin being sent to the wrong location.
