Lil Bibby speaks out.

Following the news of Juice WRLD’s passing – friends, fans, and those in the music industry instantly took to social media to honor him and pay tribute. More than a week after his death, Juice’s mentor, Lil Bibby, finally breaks his silence.

Speaking publicly for the first time, Bibby took to Instagram to pay homage to Juice in a heartfelt post, “Rest easy lil brother. Young GOAT, Most talented I’ve ever witnessed. You will be missed. Watched you 1 take platinum records. Gonna miss u freestyling around the crib all day even though that shit got a lil irritating. Most genuine person I’ve ever met. Miss u, love u brother.”

Bibby, a retired rapper, and his brother, G Money, discovered Juice World in 2017 after hearing “Lucid Dreams” on SoundCloud, and decided to sign him to Grade A Productions. Shortly after, Juice inked a $3 million joint venture deal with Interscope Records.

At the time, Juice WRLD spoke highly of Bibby and G Money to XXL, “I decided to sign with Lil Bibby and G Money at Grade A because as far as just where we from and them letting me know like, they made it clear exactly what was gonna happen, the chances of something happening, the chances of something not happening. They kept it a hunnid. That’s one of the best choices I probably ever made.”

Juice’s private funeral was held on December 13.
