Lil Baby & Future Personify A Hustler’s Vehemence In New Single “Out The Mud” [LISTEN]

by Derrius Edwards

One of Quality Control Music’s most prominent artist, Lil Baby, taps East Atlanta icon Future for his new single “Out The Mud “.

Since his debut album, 2018’s “Harder Than Ever”, every project Lil Baby has released has hit RIAA gold or platinum status.

The charting lyricist has been having his way as it relates to exemplifying musical prowess to the upmost degree and does not appear to let up anytime soon.

At the top of this year Future referenced Lil Baby as being “one of the GOATs of trap music right now”, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that the trap veteran who epitomizes a hustler’s hankering for success has finally collaborated with QC’s prodigy.

This Quay produced track is riddled with witty innuendos and suggestive slurs of flamboyance that serve as motivational purposes for anyone trying to make it out the trenches. Hell, this song even serves as motivation for anyone with the intentions of doing whatever it takes to survive.

The chorus reads, “I just bought a buss’ down, can’t wait to hold it up/All these percs won’t stay down, I keep on throwin’ up/Youngin’ ain’t gone play wit em’, he did it all for love/I feel like it’s different when you got it out the mud“.

There’s an earnest appreciation for the characteristics that develop from an experienced struggle, some of the shared common denominators that enable Future and Lil Baby to lyrically dismantle this menacing 808.

With 8 billion plus streams to his name, Lil Baby will be taking his talents overseas in the beginning of July to do major international festivals.

Another testament to his irrefutable work ethic is best expressed in receiving two BET Award nominations for Best New Artist and Best Group (with Gunna), only further cementing his legacy in musical distinction.
