Bone Thugs-N-Harmony member Krayzie Bone had to cancel part of his Canadian tour due to a bad case of pneumonia. The “Chasing The Devil” rapper recently revealed to TMZ that he is battling sarcoidosis, an autoimmune disease that attacks multiple organs in the body, especially the lungs and lymph glands. The medicine that Krayzie takes for his illness weakens his immune system, making it hard for him to fight off any type of infection, which ultimately led to him getting sick.
Via Instagram, Krayzie broke the disappointing news to his fans writing, “Canada thank you for your support sorry I had to cut it short due to sickness but I will be back to make those dates up soon! Much love.” Not wanting to take any chances, Krayzie’s doctor’s ordered him to immediately cancel the rest of his tour and return to Los Angeles for treatment. Krayzie plans on making up the missed dates once he recovers.
In 2008, sarcoidosis led to comedian Bernie Mac’s untimely death.
