He has since been released from custody.

On Friday, Kodak Black was arrested in Fort Lauderdale, Florida during a routine traffic stop after police suspected the tints on his Dodge Durango were illegal. Upon noticing a marijuana smell coming from his SUV, authorities conducted a search and found 31 oxycodone pills and $74,960 in cash.

To make matters worse, Kodak’s drivers license was expired, in addition to the vehicles’ tags. Kodak was booked at Broward County Jail and charged with trafficking oxycodone of less than 25 grams and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.

He has since posted $75,000 bond, that his lawyer, Bradford Cohen, negotiated prior to his release. The Usain Boo rapper later took to social media to address his frustration behind the arrest.

After numerous arrests in his hometown, Kodak feels he is a target at this point. In a since-deleted tweet, he wrote, “Bro these people targeted me so bad! It be alotta sh*t ion say dawg but it’s krazy how they hate a ni**a and don’t want me round here, dont wanna see me win, don’t want me doing nothing for the community.”

Kodak also claims the pills found in his SUV were his medication, “How tf you send a ni**a to jail for my own medication? Then tarnish my character like im trafficking oxycontin ??? But im posta sit here and dont talk about it?”
