On Monday, PartyNextDoor set the internet on fire when he insinuated that he and his ex-girlfriend Kehlani had gotten back together. Immediately, Twitter and Instagram users dragged the 20 year old R&B singer, calling her a “whore” and a “thot” for cheating on her boyfriend, Cleveland Cavalier player Kyrie Irving. Apparently, the backlash proved to be too much for the young star who was hospitalized after attempting to take her own life. Luckily, PartyNextDoor was able to get to the “Down For You” singer before it was too late.
From an hospital bed, Khelani cleared up the rumors writing, “I wanted to leave this earth. Being completely selfish for once. Never thought I’d get to such a low point. But.. Don’t believe the blogs you read .. No one was cheated on and I’m not a bad person… Everyone is hurt and everyone is in a place of misunderstanding.. But as of today, I had no single wish to see tomorrow.. But God saved me for a reason, and for that… I must be grateful.. Cuz I’m not in heaven right now for a reason… On that note.. Bye Instagram.”
Before deleting all of her photos, Khelani posted another lengthy message writing, “kehlani not always crying for attention or help, I got my mama on speed dial for that sh*t. is everyone that conditioned to celebrities not being REAL PEOPLE??? I’m f*cking going through it. Going thru 20 year old drama queen issues and figure since all the trials in my songs that have seemed to help so many others, sharing my truths must be continued.”
Nick Cannon visited Khelani in the hospital today, and she appears to be in good spirits. Wishing her a speedy recovery!
