A little over a week ago, Katt Williams got into a brawl with a 17 year old Luke Wash after a soccer game in Gainesville, Georgia. After the fight transpired, it was unclear if the 44 year old comedian would face any legal charges. In the footage, that has since gone viral, Williams is seen throwing the first punch, but Wash ended up taking Williams down to the ground before putting him in a headlock.

On Wednesday, the police showed up at Williams’ home and arrested him for his role in the altercation. Williams was booked on disorderly conduct and bond violation charges. Due to his age, Wash was not presumed innocent. Wash turned himself in on Monday, and was charged as an adult for disorderly conduct. It is unclear if Wash has bonded out of jail. Yesterday, Williams appeared in court, and according to his attorney, Drew Finding, he was granted $500 bond and was expected to be released.

Yvette Shearer, who is handling publicity for Williams’ “Conspiracy Theory 2016” tour, said his Friday show in New Orleans is being rescheduled to May 6. A number of his upcoming dates will be rescheduled as well. Shearer says all tickets will be honored to the new dates.
