Katori Walker Gets “Spiritual” With New Visual For “Dolla Save Me” [WATCH]

Critically-acclaimed Los Angeles rapper Katori Walker has released the official visual treatment for his latest single “Dolla Save Me”.

This house of worship isn’t your typical sanctuary, however Katori was sure to express his piousness by alluding to the spiritual fulfillment that arises from accumulating wealth.

As referenced in the line, “I know that this shit gone come around and fix my problems someday”, it’s evident Katori’s rhetoric behind addressing the common misconception that money will fix all your problems is best served with a sense of humor that depicts a harsh truth.

The truth being that the world has affixed a predetermined notion that money is the viable solution to whatever problems are at hand, and this video captures the narrative precisely.

Influence plays a pivotal role in sowing the seeds behind comparing our everyday lives with those of a higher-profile or status. Let’s face it, financial stability is something yearned for, if not the very premise surrounding the fact as to why people adamantly pursue positions of employment, for residual income. The lack of financial freedom places a significant burden in the lives of many, while simultaneously controlling the mental stimuli required to exhaust energy in the acquisition of monetary gain.

Needless to say, being broke can add an insurmountable amount of pressure and unwarranted stress on someone trying to find their way through life.

Katori received unanimous praise after releasing his Stubborn EP. He also gained traction after completing a successful run in support of Vince Staples.

With subtle indications of a forthcoming debut album, there’s no telling what the remainder of 2019 has in store for promising West Coast MC.
