Gentle Monster, a Korean-based fashion brand known for its eyewear has come forward to accuse Yusef of scamming the company out of $2.5 million by promising Kanye would create a video for the company. GM says Yusef not only set up a meeting between a rep Kanye for the brand, but he made it seem like Ye was on board for the entire project.

Kanye allegedly had no idea this was going on. In docs obtained by TMZ, Yusef also promised that more celebs would come on board for the project like Pharrell Williams, Jaden Smith and more. GM says Yusef’s scam went over 9 months and included forged signatures from Kanye and phony invoices to make it look like they were sent from talent agencies.

Gentle Monster claims that they finally realized that they had been scammed after releasing the project while promoting Kanye’s involvement — and Kim Kardashian tweeting out that her hubby had nothing to do with it, causing GM to pull the video.

As shocking as this sounds, this is not the first situation involving Yusef. Back in February, he allegedly forged Kanye’s signature for a deal to perform at Philipp Plein’s NYFW show. The performance never happened, but it was said that Yusef made off with a ton of money, which he later gave back.
