Kanye West’s Ye album release party at a Wyoming Ranch Resort has rubbed the owner the wrong way.
Last week, Kanye West threw an extravagant album release party for his Ye album at Diamond Cross Ranch in Morean, Wyoming. Apparently, the event didn’t turn out the way that owner Jane Golliher had expected, now she has banned all rappers from her place of business.
Apparently, Ye’s party was set to began by 10:00 p.m., but it didn’t actually start until 9:30 pm. Originally, things were supposed to take place indoors, but Ye kept changing his mind “every thirty minutes.” It became clear to Golliher that Ye’s team was used to him doing whatever he wanted.
Golliher noted that Teton County has strict rules when it comes to noise, and after 10:00 p.m., any sound has to be kept beneath 80 decibels. Unfortunately, Yeezy had his music as loud ad 120 decibels. This caused many of the ranch’s neighbor’s to complain. Golliher said that her husband threatened to cut the power if the music wasn’t turned off by midnight,
In addition, Golliher says she undercharged Kanye, and should’ve charged $50,000 for the event. Although Golliher has no interest in allowing any other rappers to throw anymore listening parties, she says she’s open to events with “good music.” Golliher also says she has no hard feelings towards Kanye, his team, and his guests.
