Jacquees was arrested in South Beach.
During a recent trip to Miami, Jacquees ran into a bit of legal trouble. Yesterday, the “B.E.D.” singer was arrested for reportedly driving without wearing a seat belt and “disturbing the peace and quiet and public morals of bystanders on a busy spring break day on Ocean Drive in Miami Beach.”
Jacquees was cruising down Ocean Drive in his black Lamborghini, when a police officer noticed he wasn’t wearing his seat belt. The officer then tried to pull Jacquees over, but he allegedly kept on driving.
In the police report for the incident, the officer wrote, “The defendant did not obey my command and instead kept driving the vehicle at a low rate of speed with heavy traffic still northbound on Ocean Drive.”
“He was then asked again to pull over and to provide me with his driver’s license. The defendant once again refused to obey a lawful command from this officer.” When Jacquees finally decided to stop, he “abruptly opened the door and exited.” The officer noted that Jacquees refused to walk to the sidewalk as he requested, and stated, “Don’t touch me.”
At this point, a huge gathering of Spring Break vacationers began to gather around the scene, stemming the officer to call for backup. “Additional officers had to be requested in emergency mode due to the large crowd gathering and the defendant still not complying.”
Jacquees was then taken into custody. He later posted $1,000 bail.
