Jaah SLT pens the soundtrack to unchanged ways with new ‘Same Me’ music video.

The Charlotte native is starting to gain significant traction as a breakout artist this year, landing a spot on Spotify’s US Viral 50 and Rolling Stone’s Breakthrough 25 charts just last month.

‘Same Me’ balances between psychedelic visions of makeshift dog faces and creatively displayed madness.

Jaah, alongside his equally enthusiastic comrades, are found cavorting and standing on top of inanimate objects at an abandoned warehouse – personifying black boy joy in the most fitting way.

Sonically, Jaah’s trigger-happy mentions champion the electronically produced chords used in song, reminding listeners that it’s okay to just be yourself.

The 19-year-old Alamo signee is making strides toward a promising run in music. He’s unapologetically frank with his delivery, yet tactical in the sense of constructing a proportioned rhyme scheme. It’s exciting to see what the remainder of this year withholds for the Carolinian talent.
