Uncle Sam has a bone to pick with Ja Rule.
Apparently, Ja Rule hasn’t paid taxes in over 10 years. According to Bossip, the “Always On Time” rapper failed to pay taxes for income he made from 2004 to 2015.
Last month, the IRS hit him with a $363,269 tax lien for his earnings in 2014 and 2015. Over the years, the IRS has filed multiple liens against Ja, but he continued to dodge them.
Shockingly enough, this isn’t Ja Rule’s first run-in with Uncle Sam. In 2015, he was reportedly accused of failing to pay $92,728 in back taxes for 2012. In addition, the IRS accused Ja of failing to pay an additional $89,913 in outstanding tax debt for 2013. Then, in 2013, he allegedly owed $1.7 million for back taxes from 2004 to 2008.
Ja Rule has yet to release a statement addressing the claims.
