It’s funny how the tables turn. Earlier this week Philly rapper Meek Mill called out Drake for working with a ghostwriter. Now, a few of Meek’s skeletons are being dragged out of the closet, and not by Drake. Lil George, a 17 year old rapper from Detroit, is claiming that Meek Mill stole the hook of his Dreams Worth More Than Money track “I Got The Juice” from his track “I Got The Sauce”.
Lil George dropped “I Got The Sauce” back in October of last year and says the track received a lot of underground attention from the Hip Hop community so he knows Meek heard the song. Seven months later, Meek released “I Got The Juice” and ironically enough it sounds very similar to Lil George’s track. George says he isn’t look for any monetary compensation, he just wants Meek to acknowledge the fact that he was influenced by his track.
Chicago rapper Machie Rei dropped his song “I Got The Juice” back in January, and is claiming Meek stole the hook from his song too.
