During his set at Billboard’s Hot 100 Festival on Sunday, “Tuesday” singer iLoveMakonnen announced that he will drop his debut album in October. Although he didn’t provide a release date, a few weeks ago he posted a couple of tweets suggesting an album was on the way. During his 35 minute set he performed two brand new untitled songs as well as “Slow It Down” and “I Don’t Sell Molly No More”. Back in February, iLoveMakonnen revealed that Diplo, Snoop Dogg, Drake, and Rihanna would be featured artists on the upcoming album.

iLoveMakonnen rose to fame in 2014 when Drake remixed his song “Tuesday”. In July 2014, he released his self-titled EP ILoveMakonnen via OVO Sound and Warner Bros. “Tuesday” and “I Don’t Sell Molly No More” were the lead singles on the project. iLoveMakonnen’s most successful song to date is “Tuesday”, which shot to number twelve on the Billboard Hot 100.

On March 31, he released his mixtape Drink More Water 5 which turned out to be a total flop, but hopefully he will prove himself with a new album on the way.
