Icewear Vezzo & Big Sean Revamp The Traditional “Jenga” Game In New Video [WATCH]

by Derrius Edwards

Detroit heavyweight Icewear Vezzo has finally released the cinematic-esque treatment for his most recent single “Balance” featuring multi-platinum fellow Detroiter Big Sean.

This masterful Kid Art directed project passes off Batman & Robin vibes initially with Vezzo and Sean overlooking their hometown skyline as if they are on the prowl for wrongdoing.

Immediately followed by Vezzo’s suggestive tightrope theatrics that further emphasizes the importance of maintaining balance in the literal sense, the two “buffed up” artists provide an interesting outlook on life in the Motor City through a pair of Cartier spectacles.

As referenced in lines such as, “I’ve been turnt up for like six summers/Type of n***a shoot the club up till’ I hit somethin’/These n****s virgins, they ain’t hit nothin’/I just got a squirter with a big onion”, it’s quite apparent that Vezzo understands the importance of consistency in perfecting your craft while simultaneously not shying away from adversity. His risqué humor renders the appropriate response that requires you to think outside of the box, which is exactly what Big Sean does so effortlessly.

Being sure to match Vezzo’s liveliness for his delivery of aligned metaphors and similes, Big Sean followed up with a verse that redefines the significance of taking a step-back to realize the value stemming from a well-need hiatus.

Whether it’s the purple luxury foreign vehicles stacked atop one another or the gold chain trapeze line connecting the Detroit skyscrapers, this visual is nothing short of admirable and serves as a constant reminder that the only limitations that exist are self-imposed.

It’s okay to challenge yourself, but it’s also of great importance to balance the energy you exhaust into this world.

We all have our fair share of tightropes to walk in life.
