Gucci Mane recruits Lil Pump for “Kept Back.”
Gucci Mane wanted to sign Lil Pump to his record label at one point, but unfortunately the plan fell through and Pump ended up taking his talents elsewhere – possibly because he was offered more money.
It appears that the two stars have put that all behind them and have now linked up for a new track titled “Kept Back.” It’s unclear if the new song will appear on Gucci’s upcoming Evil Genius or Eskimo Boys Vol. 1 projects, but time will tell.
Gucci recently spoke to Zane Lowe about the process of working on his projects, “I really just been compiling a bunch of songs, listening to beats. I went in with Metro, I did a bunch of songs with Southside, C.N.O.T.E. I just really wanted to just have a chance to almost make a mixtape worth of songs with all the producers that I like.”
