A$AP Yams touched many people before his untimely death, and those who loved him are dedicated to keeping his legacy alive. The latest tribute to A$AP Yams comes from Atlanta rapper Future, who recently announced the launch of his “Freebandz Pop-Up Shop” in Los Angeles, which will the rapper’s clothing line. In addition to his latest collection, the shop will feature a limited edition set of vintage tees designed by Darien Bruze.
The tees will have an 80’s rock swag with “Long Live A$AP Yams” written across the front of them. The back of the shirt will consist of a group of snapshots of Future from his “Purple Reign” tour. Bruze stated, “Future wanted some Yams shirts, so I was like, ‘We gotta do this right—it’s gotta be special. I just thought it was hard as h*ll—this band had Polaroid pictures on the back from their tour—I was like, ‘We gotta do that for Yams. It’s only appropriate.’ That’s probably my favorite one.” There will only be 50 A$AP Yams shirts available for sale.
Other clothing lines that will be featured in the shop include Cease & Desist, DOPE and RSVP.
The A$AP Yams tee will be available on March 20.
