I bet Ciara didn’t see this one coming. The ongoing custody battle between Cici and her ex-fiance Future just took an unexpected turn.
Yesterday, the two stars appeared in an California court and battled it out over their 2 year old son, Future Zahir Wilburn. Originally, Ciara asked the judge to grant her son custody of Future Jr., claiming that Future was a bad father who wasn’t present in his child’s life. Unfortunately for Cici, the judge sided with Future and granted him with joint custody of baby Future.
Ciara first began pursuing things legally back in February when she slapped Future with a $15 million lawsuit for libel and slander. The 30 year old “Goodies” singer grew tired of Future publicly dragging her name through the mud and suggesting that she was an unfit mother. Future later counter-sued Ciara, claiming that she never allows him to see his son even though he pays $15,000 a month in child support. Via Twitter, Future expressed his frustration writing, “This b*tch got control problems. I gotta go through lawyers to see babyfuture…the f*ckery for 15k a month. I jus want babyfuture that’s all.”
Those cases are still currently unresolved. Congratulations to Future!
